NAD - Lyle O. Reitzel Contemporary Art Gallery, founded in 1995, is proud to announce that the beloved dominican artist Scherezade Garcia will be showcased in the LA Art Show 2017. The Broad, The Getty, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA), Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA), Anaheim’s Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center and UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center participate in the Show’s expanded 22nd edition.


Scherezade Garcia, In My Floating World (2010) will be presented at LA Art Show 2017 and will be featured in the upcoming Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA exhibition, Relational Undercurrents: Contemporary Art of the Caribbean Archipelago opening at MOLAA in September 2017.

LA Art Show Producer Kim Martindale announced a slate of new programming established with the city’s major art institutions. The programming, which establishes a public platform to present the city’s world-class art and cultural initiatives to an estimated 70,000 visitors from around the world, comprises special exhibitions, installations, performances with a thematic focus on Latin American art, and a series of high-level conversations with prominent museum leaders, internationally recognized curators and artists.
